2. Create a cast of characters, including the actors who'd play them
3. Add in any actor photos, character bios and show synopsis that you want.
4. Post to your own journal.

TV-14/MOPENING CREDITS SONG:
Way Down In The Hole - Five Blind Boys of Alabama (blatantly stealing this from The Wire)FINALE ENDING CREDITS SONG:
Tale VII (vivo con fuoco) - Goran BregovicSYNOPSIS:
Deep underground, the city of London has a secret heart. A group of adventurers decides to turn a Victorian era abandoned railway station into an illegal casino. Along the way, they discover that theirs is not the only secret buried in the darkness.CAST:
Reid "Verdi" Townsend (Mos Def)
Reid made his fortune in the restaurant business and always loved an evening at the card tables. His reputation as a bit of a hustler preceded him, as did his unique choice in mates. He's a self-made man, gregarious, funny, sharp as a razor.
He bought the old pub in Cathedral Street, with the intent to renovate the entire building and eventually the block. When his barman Stuart discovered that the panels in the cellar opened onto a series of underground tunnels, the adventure began in earnest.

Stuart "Snow" Miller (Brian Cox)
Stuart had seen a lot of strange and wonderful things in his life. He's retired military and he doesn't talk about his career overseas. He's quiet and thoughtful, a great listener, but he longs for the time of his life when things were a bit more exciting. He met Reid at a club in Edinburgh and the two became fast friends. Moving to London was an excellent excuse to be nearer to his daughter, Kaitlyn. He's resourceful, a strategist, and not afraid to use cricket bat behind the bar, regardless of the situation.
SPOILER: He found the old door in the cellar, and he was the one who suggested they do a bit of urban exploring.

Rahim "August" Nazari (Naveen Andrews)
Dr. Nazari, private practice physician and inveterate gambler, is a friend of Reid's from the clubs, and knows Winter from university. It's his idea to turn the old underground station into an illegal casino. Reid and August are the primary investors, and as such, they butt heads regularly about how things are to be done.
August is the charmer of the group, completely incompetent with a hammer, but he knows how people work.
SPOILER: August recognised the plague graves for what they were, but chose not to say anything, because he'd invested his last penny in the venture, and desperately needs it to be a success, before the Russians find him and take his head back to Moscow.

Cassandra "Cinder" Powers (Thandie Newton)
Cinder is a budding journalist and thrill seeker, friend of August and Winter's. She's travelled all over the world, and decided to make London her home, primarily because of the night life. (She and August have an on-again-off-again thing, mostly because he can't keep his hands to himself.)
She's a skeptic, a strict rationalist, and she's afraid that what's happening underground is beyond the realm of rational explanation.
SPOILER: She's with Russians, and they think August is making the whole thing up to get out from under his debts. Which puts her life on the line too, when she tells them he's not lying.

Kaitlyn "Winter" Tresa (Emily Blunt)
Winter was visiting her dad (Stuart) on the night they found the old tunnels and chambers beneath the pub. She's a med student at King's College (failing miserably), and it isn't long before her obsession with exploring the old underground station overwhelms her desire to study. She's a wild child, braver than she knows, more prone to fighting than talking. (She's struggling to find a working relationship with her dad, who was absent for most of her childhood. She also has it bad for Doyle, who seems oblivious to the fact.)
SPOILER: She's the one who lets herself be captured by the Russians and brought back as a hostage. In fact, feeding them to the pit was her idea all along.

Joey "Autumn" Reeves (Marion Cotillard)
Joey is Stuart's second in command at the pub, a street smart chick who plays part time in a band. She wants to own her own pub someday, so she spends most of her time trying pick Reid's brain. He wishes there was more to the relationship, because he admires the fire in her eyes. She thinks she's not ready to settle for just one man. (And she also has a history with Doyle, one she's not quite over yet.)
SPOILER: She's the one who finds the dead workmen torn to shreds in the main hall, and she's the one who convinces the others they'll all go to jail if they don't cover it up. She's also the first to recognise that hey, when the dead get up and walk, you can't rationalise it away. You have to shoot first and ask questions later.

Adanaya "Grace" Dumas (Zuleikha Robinson*)
Adanaya spends her days slaving in a publishing house as a junior editor and she hates it. She deals cards on the side, and when Reid offers her a job at the new place, she takes it, living on Red Bull and will power. She's the one who looks into the history of the old underground station, and finds the old articles about the deaths that happened here over one hundred years ago.
SPOILER: She thinks of herself as a bookworm, but she surprises herself when she has to fight her way out of one of the lower levels. The adrenaline rush doesn't scare her away, no it has exactly the opposite effect.
*re: second LOST cast member, sorry I've been in love with Zuleikha since Hidalgo and The Merchant Of Venice.

Matthew "Hatter" Doyle (James Nesbitt)
Doyle is the retired copper, borderline personality. His wife left him, and he's working on putting his life back together, one bottle at a time. Reid and he have a history, and Reid lets him run a tab, one he never seems to let him pay off.
He's one of the pub's regulars who goes down into the tunnels with them in the beginning, and he has a fierce sense of possession about the place. He offers to lend a hand in clearing out the debris, and when there are questions, he's the one who puts his neck on the line with the authorities, telling them everything is all right.
SPOILER: He's disposing of the hundred year old corpses when he's exposed to the grave dust, and begins to develop symptoms he hides from his mates until it's too late.
