"Come in. Make yourself at home. Something to drink?"

"Um, sure." Wendy's gaze moves over the elegantly decorated room, drawn by the panoramic view of the skyline. "This looks like a movie set."

"Yeah, Antoine. He's my decorator. Not like I spend much time here. Always at work, or in the bar."

There's a click, and Barry White's smoky voice fills the space. Let's get it on.

"Subtle."

"Is it working?" He tries for smooth, but with the accent, it still comes out hopeful.

"Yeah. Kinda." Weird.

When he grins, it lights up his whole face. "Give me some sugar, baby."
