I am highly amused by the fact that I managed to pick the table with, like, most of the darker and more supernaturally inclined prompts. I win?

Actually, I came up with those first numbers myself. Before opening the prompt page. I suspect the dice roller is for people who want to do a bajillion prompts; it gets harder to come up with new numbers or pick a truly random table.

"I thought you'd left."

"I saw fit to return." The Prince flicks his fingers and the candle on Jonathan's table flames to life. "They are not so averse to my company here, as you seem to be."

"Yes, well. They'll soon see the error of their ways."

"Indeed. I bid you good evening, sir."

"I'm afraid I cannot extend the same courtesy to you."

"I understand."

Jonathan watches him melt back into the crowd before blowing the blasted candle out again.
